start over

I have a new found appreciation for Time Warner that I’d like to shout from the rooftops. It’s full of glorious surprises and really proving to be a reliable friend during this cold and rainy winter

first of all, we discovered that prime-time On Demand exists - who knew?! This means, at our leisure, we can watch the shows we always say we’ll DVR and never do.

and… even better…. the “Start Over” option is underrated and overlooked. Start Over is way more advanced than the simple “rewind” or “pause”. You just push “SEL” and the show that you realize you just missed… wait for it… starts over!

You tuned in to Jersey Shore 5 minutes too late? START OVER!

You missed the makeover montage in the Devil Wears Prada? START OVER!

Thanks Time Warner, you have let us down in the past but you’re proving to be a keeper.

Make Adjustments Go Get It Energized

Good advice for life, according to Ted

HIMYM is the only good thing that happened to Tuesdays, and that’s only because I have it on DVR it from Monday

dealbreaker:

GUESTBREAKER: Your Misuse of Quotation MarksYou sent me an email that said you had “good news”. Just like that, “good news”. What does that even mean? Doesn’t that imply you’re being sarcastic? Is it not actually good or not actually news? Are you quoting someone? You’re “stupid”.
A Guest Dealbreaker written by Karen.

Dealbreaker totally gets it.
This one gets grouped into that same category I previously touched on here.
It really is just the misuse of written out quotation marks that irks me. The hand gestures? Not so much a deal breaker. They’re more comical than annoying. Note Joey Tribbiani’s misuse of finger quotes for a chuckle.

I have recently given up the gym and taken up glee.
My DVR list is limited, and I am not typically gaga over musical comedies, but when Dani described the show as “sent from above” and I previewed the football teams Single Ladies performance on youtube - i should have known it (me & glee) was meant to be.
I am a little late to start drinking the glee kool-aid but better late than never… they say.
