Happy birthday to the best mom that ever lived.
I can only hope I am as fun/beautiful/smart/caring/amazing as you when I am in your shoes (louboutins to be exact, and dancing up a storm)
I am so happy I was able to be with you to celebrate.
Happy happy birthday.
I love you!!
A little morning pilates with mom on this rainy day.
What looks like a torture chamber is actually a room full of reformers, mirrors, and the naughtiest little pilates instructor I have yet to encounter.
I’ll be back on Friday, post stuffing binge, for some more yanking kicking and straining. Can’t wait.
Walked my over-the-knee boots over to west Houston street for dinner with mom & sis at Jane.
Dinner and a bottle of red is exactly what the doctor ordered after a long first half of the week.
A highlight of the dinner? Goat cheese flat bread. There is absolutely nothing wrong with goat cheese flat bread.
And I am glad to admit any restaurant with brussel sprouts as a side on the menu gets a thumbs up from this girl.
moms always know what’s best (or at least mine does).
she’s always got great advice and I particularly love it when the words of wisdom come in catchy phrases. In today’s little pick-me-up email, my mom actually said “put that in your pipe and smoke it!!” Low and behold, it did, in fact, pick me up.
Although she is not the originator of these phrases, my top 2 favorite quotes from mom have to be
“You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince” and
“Everything in moderation”
Question to mom, does the frog kissing have to be in moderation?
