The mercury has dropped and winter is in full force.

What better to come home to than quality couch time and a mug full of hot chocolate with mini marshmallows?

and yes, our mugs are decorated with pictures of us

i love college

Yes, there was cold rain, and my jacket was stolen. And sure, we waited in long lines and we lost at home to Penn State. But nothing can ever begin to take away from a weekend in Ann Arbor with my best friends, reliving the ridiculously amazing 4 years we spent at the University of Michigan

just like riding a bike, we still pregame (and dress) like champs

This picture is worth a 1000 words, but ill spare you the other 987

Much love for the Michigan marching band

until fall 2010

Ann Arbor or bust!

For someone with a lot an obscene amount of stuff, I am a pretty good packer. I’m not even in the vicinity of the “over-packer” label.

Not really sure how I do it? I always make a list of what to pack before I travel, yet I never reference the list while packing. I can pretty much take a trip anywhere for under a week and survive on the objects that fit in my weekender Le Sportsac + tote bag.

Not impressed? Remember I have size 9 feet so my shoes take up that much more space.

No packing job compares to that which goes into a trip to Ann Arbor for a football Saturday

happy jew year

I know that ‘New Years Resolutions’ aren’t typically propagandized during Rosh Hashanah, but I am taking this opportunity to abandon some bad habits and focus on the positive… effective immediately

Although I did not make it to temple this year (or any other year, this millennium), I did participate in a lovely Shabbat dinner on Friday night. We welcomed the *sweet* new year with prayers and apples & honey.

Saturday morning I joined some fellow Wolverines at Forum to cheer on another Michigan win! We are looking mighty good this year - unlike rival OSU, and USC, who are already sporting some losses - no pun intended :)

An afternoon in soho was well worth the butt-load of weekend pedestrian traffic because I finally found a hot little number for the birthday party next week. I also decided on a venue, a specific bar which will surprise no one.

I spent my last day of the weekend hittin the gym (with the LBD in mind), running some errands, cooking another healthy AND delicious dinner, and enjoying Neil Patrick Harris as the host of the Emmys. On that note - HIMYM starts tomorrow! The only good thing to happen to Mondays.

All in all, a productive weekend to kick-start a new year. Shana Tova
